RE: auqamagic IV toliet

I have to put some olive oil in my bowl every now and then to keep it lubricated, but that's only issue I've had.
What makes you think it's not closing all the way ? Water leaking out ? Or you actually see day-light (so to speak) ?

RE: Forestry Service to close ANF Campground

I'm just happy I knew what he was referencing. I'm usually on the other end of the mysterious abbreviations.

RE: Length question Weekend Warrior

If you custom order a WW, they will add up to 5 (or is it 6) feet. So a 4005 could be ordered as 45 feet for sure.

RE: pin weight

Go to a good truck scale with your FW connected.
Have steer wheels on 1st platform, drive wheels on 2nd platform and trailer wheels on 3rd platform. Take your weights.
Disconnect trailer and get back on scales with TV, with steer wheels on 1st and drive wheels on 2nd.
The different in weights will be your pin weight.

RE: For those that have king pin stabilizer ???

I have the three legged one and it works great, very stable. I guess that is why milking stools had three legs. Only issue I have is the weight, very heavy.
I like the milk stool reference.
In my view of this, there are 3 points to get aligned with a bipod (leg 1, leg 2 and kingpin), hence there's your 3 points in the same plane. With a tripod, you've got 4 points and they are not in a single plane.
Too each his own. I probably like the bipod better cause I want to justify where I spent my $100.

RE: For those that have king pin stabilizer ???

I like the two legged one better. It's easier to get two points level than to get three.

RE: Getting ATVs to the riding spot when at the campground?

6 grand for that ?!?! It's pretty cool, but definitely not worth $6k. I thought it was just under $600 at first glance.

You check your tires hot?

RE: CG on the beach???

When this place is open Castaways RV Resort & Campground, it will be right on the beach for those particular spots that are water-front.

RE: Corp of Engineers Campgrounds

I agree with mocktutrle and fchhammer1. I want the rangers to bust the noisy crowd so I can enjoy my beer in peace. And if I'm not causing any issues and drinking it in a cup, who's to know what I'm drinking.

And one other note, just because they have wireless available, doesn't mean it's free.

RE: WW going out of business?

Weekend Warrior.
I've read speculation about why they're changing fom 2 year to 1 year warranty, but think about it. If they were really on the edge of closing the doors, why not go to a 5 year warranty to hook as many buyers as possible before locking the doors.
Just about every company whose product/service is a discretionary expense is hurting right now. WW is no different.

RE: problem - electrical

Or possibly a battery disconnect switch pulled ? Some things still run (on mine) with battery disconnect switch pulled to disconnect position, and some things don't work. Can't remember about slides, but stabilizers are definitely on this list.

RE: Did Castaways make the Memorial Day Weekend opening?

Maybe this place will bring a little competition to FrontierTown. Even if it doesn't lower prices, maybe we won't have to book FrontierTown 12+ months in advance. We need a satisfaction report from anyone that stays at Castaways.

RE: Using Blue Boys to dump in home sewage system

Ask your DW (assuming you're a guy) what she thinks about your possible solution and post the results here to amuse us. I assume you're a guy, cause I can't imagine a woman thinking about dumping all that in the commode from a blue-boy.

RE: Statesville NC to Lancaster PA

Don't know about the NC parts, but you don't want to take I-95 up to I-495 any time of the week other than 3 am Sunday morning, and not even too sure about it then. Traffic is just about the worst in the country. LA has nothing on DC.
I'd figure out how to get to I-81 and take that north all the way to PA, then you could take I-76 or US-30 east from I-81 to Lancaster.

RE: Has anyone stayed at Crow's Nest, MD?

Yep, agree with all of the above. From the road it doesn't look too bad, but it's really pretty dumpy. I've heard the "sex offender" rumor, and a rig of any size would have a hard time getting in/out/parked.
